RCABC Basic Lakewater Instructor course Instructor course September 16th (Evening on Zoom) and September 19th and 20th Coquitlam - Buntzen Lake $300 plus GST. This course, is for teachers and people working with youth, who are experienced paddlers and wish to receive Canoe Instructor certifications to be able to certify their students. It will cover the competencies and content for the new RCABC Basic Lakewater Instructor course. This course certifies successful candidates to teach RCABC Lakewater Basic Tandem and Solo. The course fee does not include the membership fee for RCABC which must be paid prior to the course.Rental canoes are available. The Basic Tripping Instructor course is designed for Instructors wishing to teach the Basic Tripping Paddler course and take students on canoe trips up to 4 days/3 nights with same day Emergency Medical Services (EMS) access on flat waters. This is a new course designed for Educators and this will be the first time it is offered. Basic Tripping Instructors must be current Basic Lakewater Instructors.
